FluxTab is designed to keep your data on your device whenever possible. This policy explains what is processed and why.

Where data is stored
- Preferences are stored in browser local storage.
- Session statistics are stored in your browser IndexedDB.
- No cloud sync or remote database is used by default.
Data sharing
- FluxTab does not sell or rent personal data.
- FluxTab does not send browsing history to external analytics services.
- Search requests are sent only to the search engine you choose when you submit a query.
Permissions used
- storage: save your extension settings.
- tabs: access tab metadata to provide recent tabs and session stats.
- topSites (Chrome only): show frequently visited sites when enabled.
Your controls
- You can reset preferences in the extension settings.
- You can uninstall FluxTab at any time to stop all processing.
- You can clear browser storage to remove local data.
